CPS External Resources and Partnerships Office Free Things "Wish List" Program

The Free Things program accepts gently used and new donations and distributes them to requesting CPS schools.  We post items here so that schools can see what is available. Items will be posted by the Department of External Affairs and Partnerships.  Only CPS staff members are allowed to submit a request and the email address that is submitted should have either the “cps.edu” or “cps.k12.il.us” extension.

Oppenheimer Family Foundation Teacher Incentive Grant for the Chicago Public Schools

All certified CPS personnel are eligible to apply, including administrators, counselors and social workers from pre-kindergarten through Grade 12. Requests may be up to $2,000 per project.  We fund projects that provide hands-on learning experiences that end in a culminating event or product that may be viewed by a visitor.

Target: Take Charge of Education® For Teachers
